Dear Players,
As you are aware the committee made a decision last year that if the tour did not receive 64 players it would not go ahead.
Since that decision was made the credit crunch / economic status has had a major effect on all tours across the country. We have tried to assist by adjusting our payment structure so players can ease themselves into the Region 7 Tour as opposed to a major financial outlay in January.
We already have 46 entries which we have agreed will NOT face any penalty or ban should they wish to withdraw prior to the first event. We have been inundated with telephone calls from players already on the tour asking if the tour will proceed with fewer entries than 64.
The Region 7 executive committee have decided that in the interest in keeping the longest running regional tour alive, not only will we run with a minimum of 32 players with obviously a less than advertised prize fund we will add £1000 to any reduced prize fund. Details will be announced when numbers are confirmed.
If you have registered already and wish to stay on the tour, you need do nothing.
If you have registered already and wish to withdraw from the tour will you please email either of the contacts below.
If you haven’t registered and are now considering to do so please contact either
