could someone pls give me the address of where maidenhead a now play there home fixtures?
i know it was ranks but as they are gone and as my team is playing them at the end of the month i would like to know thanks
i play for hammersmith a we are ment to play them on the 27-9-09 at there place
I will see the Maidenhead team tonight and I will ask them where their venue is going to be.
thanks mate
Taylor , it looks likely that the match will be played at The Bell in Maidenhead. There is a slim possibility of it being switched to Rileys in Reading but at this stage its more likely to be the bell.
ok thanks for all your help
i take it the rileys have good tables but does anyone know weather the bell has good tables pls?
They are pretty appalling which is probably why they would rather change venues. Apart from the rolls , coloured cloths , chipped balls etc they are lit by spotlights , most of which dont even point to the table.
There are a couple which are playable but on the whole they are rubbish. Unfortunately there is nowhere else in that area with two tables let alone decent ones.
They reclothed all the tables and sorted out the cushions yesterday. The lighting is still dodgy but the tables are like playing on a sheet of glass.
ok not all goods news but thanks for ya help tho.
did anyone check out the inter-league draw for yarmouth which is now 2 weeks away, ren a look like they have a hard draw with w. weds in they group i never knew much of maid b group, and my hamm a team have a new team and trent t b we all know about trent t a with mr potts kendal and co but does anyone know anything of trent t b?
Maidenhead have the toughest one with Preston South (Gareth Hibbot and Lee Clough).
If you go to the website
http://www.epa.org.uk/Interleague2009/interleaguestats.htm
you can click on some teams and see the list of players.
of couse they have preston south got to final in a year ago i do belive, but still its 1 frame pool you v the other man a few dish's could mean a darw maybe a win you never know, i wont be beting on maidenhead to beat preston but you know what i mean, plus to go there and play them kind of players is also good in its self what a test for a standard pool player, and to win your frame well what a lift it would be all round for your team, so go maidenhead show them what ya can do.
Assuming you are Paul Taylor , I noticed you have one of the bracknell guys in the first round
